When CADDY 2.0 was developed, a new CTSW was
developed as well. In this new CTSW some of the rules in
the specification are checked more rigorously for the
CADDY 2.0 dossiers than had been the case previously for
CADDY 1.1 dossiers. By default the system verifies by
itself whether a CADDY 1.1 or 2.0 dossier is being
checked. For CADDY 1.1 dossiers , the rules as in CTSW
2.0.9 are followed, for CADDY 2.0 dossiers the new,
stricter rules are applied.
Nevertheless, some companies are confronted with
reports from Member States that certain of their older,
CADDY 1.1 dossiers were tested as non-compliant. These
dossiers previously did pass the CTSW 2.0.9 test.
Obviously, version 2.0.22 of the CTSW does not treat the
older dossiers like it should, i.e. in exactly the same
way as the version 2.0.9 did.
It was therefore agreed between the European
Commission and the Member States that when a CADDY 1.1
dossier does not pass conformity using the most recent
Conformity Test Software, then it should be tested with
version 2.0.9. If the dossier passes this test, it can
be considered compliant.
Please report such findings to
CADDY support, so that it can be
corrected in the next release of the CADDY Conformity
Test Software.
